MONO RACR

Introducing a retro-modern design that seamlessly merges cutting-edge race bike technology with tried-and-true frame geometry, component configurations, and aerodynamics.

The Custom Motorcycle Build Process: From Concept to Reality

At the heart of this virtual bike build is a “CLEAN and MEAN” design philosophy. This approach draws inspiration from the past, emphasizing raw and functional race bike components paired with bodywork that features elegant, aerodynamic lines. In contrast, many modern sportbikes seem to indulge in excessive and chaotic aesthetics, cluttered with superficial details. It appears that manufacturers, eager to outshine their competitors year after year, have fallen into the trap of creating visually overwhelming designs filled with aggressive styling and outlandish graphics, which ultimately leaves us uninspired.

Our virtual bike build kicked off with a key element: a 1000cc Honda inline-four engine. From this foundation, every component was meticulously selected, focusing on an inside-out design strategy. Lead engineer Allan Reich crafted the mainframe and swing-arm using a single-piece mono-form carbon fiber construction to enhance weight savings and performance. Our ambition is to transform this concept into reality—not just another superficial prototype. We are just months away from moving into our new 4000 sq ft workshop in Soma and are currently exploring fabrication options to bring MONO to life.
